Invisalign and Angel Aligners Clear Braces Treatment Planning

After a full evaluation, Dr Angela Zhang will discuss orthodontic options with you. Invisalign is appropriate for most misalignment concerns.

Getting started requires precise planning on the part of Dr Zhang to ensure optimum results. She will take digital impressions using our Intero 3-D scanner, create moulds of teeth and use digital dental x-rays to evaluate bone health. Digital teeth scans will also give you a preview of your future smile in as little as 15 minutes.

In some cases, small tooth-coloured buttons, called attachments, will be applied to teeth to guide teeth movement. Dr Zhang will remove these at the end of treatment.

Dr Zhang will discuss treatment times and cost as well as how to use your Invisalign clear aligners once they return from the lab.

Invisalign Treatment Guidelines

Clear aligners are removable, which means that patient compliance is essential to success. Following a few simple guidelines will make treatment efficient and improve results.

Wear aligners for at least 22 hours per day.
Wear each set of aligners for about two weeks before moving on to the next.
Keep aligners clean to reduce bacterial growth.
Do not leave aligners in a hot auto or where pets can reach them.
Be sure to maintain excellent home care and dental visits.
